At more than 2.5 acres in size, Art on theMART is the largest permanent architectural video projection installation in the United States. Obscura partnered with Vornado Realty Trust and Valerio Dewalt Train Associates to transform the entire south face of the Merchandise Mart into a display for large-scale visual art. On a nightly basis, content from selected artists is shown to all attendees and passers-by on the riverwalk, and is visible from countless viewpoints in the Loop and West Loop neighborhoods of Chicago.
